KITSAB President Orhan Tolun and MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan stated that AJet's launch of affordable flights from Istanbul and London to Northern Cyprus is a positive step for tourism. Within the scope of the project, 60 TRNC youth will be employed as cabin crew members and the “Island Cyprus” logo will be placed on two airplanes.

 

Orhan Tolun, President of the Cyprus Turkish Tourism and Travel Agencies Association (KITSAB), stated that AJet's introduction of a ticket tariff of 6 thousand TL for Istanbul-KKTC flights and 240 Euros (two ways) for London Stansted-KKTC flights within the scope of the “Island Cyprus” project is a positive development for Northern Cyprus tourism. Tolun emphasized that as KITSAB, they find these steps taken valuable and support them.

After the signing ceremony, KITSAB President Orhan Tolun, Cyprus Health Tourism Council President and MP Dr. Orhan Tolun came together at the Republican Assembly. Ahmet Savaşan and KITSAB Board Member Dogan Yalki, made evaluations on the new process launched.

Ahmet Savaşan: ÜSTEL'S INITIATIVES IN BERLIN ARE YIELDING RESULTS

Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan Prime Minister, on the other hand, said that the initiatives for AJet to fly to Northern Cyprus with special prices Unal Üstel chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu and Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy at the ITB Berlin Fair in Germany. Savaşan stated that these initiatives have started to yield concrete results and that the project will contribute to both tourism and the country's economy in general.

60 YOUNG PEOPLE FROM CYPRUS TO BE EMPLOYED AS CABIN CREW MEMBERS

Pointing out that 60 young people from TRNC will be employed as cabin crew at AJet within the scope of the project, Savaşan stated that the placement of the “Island Cyprus” logo on two aircraft in the AJet fleet is an important step in terms of promoting the country.

Emphasizing that THY Cyprus Directorate is carrying out important activities to contribute to the development of the country's tourism, Savaşan said, “These steps taken by THY with the sincere support of Turkey will increase the visibility of Northern Cyprus” tourism products in the international arena, contribute positively to the country's economy and at the same time offer new opportunities to our young people.".
